Alfred Chia


Mr Alfred Chia, CPD Trainer


Alfred Chia is the CEO of SingCapital Pte Ltd. He has more than 19 years of experience in helping people realise their financial dreams with the right planning tools. Alfred is an approved trainer for the Real Estate Salespersons (RES) course by the Council of Estate Agencies (CEA), helping individuals who intend to pursue a career as a real estate salesperson. He is also a lecturer for Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) professional course for the financial industry.


 As an ardent believer in the power of education, Alfred strives to share his knowledge of financial planning through as many conduits as possible. He is the Creator and Chief Trainer for the popular program, 'Singapore Accredited Mortgage Planner', for real estate professionals and financial planners. Alfred is also well-sought after by companies and corporations that look to him for proper business solutions to steer them in the right direction.


Alfred holds a degree in Bachelor of Science from the National University of Singapore and various professional qualifications including Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).

Mr Mark Gansham



Mr Mark Gansham, CPD Trainer and RES lecturer


Mr Mark Gansham graduated from the University of London with a Bachelors Degree in Economics.  He is also ACTA (Advanced Certificate In Training And Assessment) qualified, a pre-requisite to train WDA's Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) programs.


Mark has been a real estate practitioner for 18 years and has vast experience in sales and lease transactions of both the public and private residential market. He has vast knowledge in areas of HDB and Private Residential Properties.


Mark has extensive experience in Real Estate training. He is involved in training in Area of Rental & Sale of Public and Private Properties as well as Skills based training. He has also been committed in training salespersons on Ethical Practices and  Professional Behavior.


Currently, he is a Business Head as well as a CPD trainer with an estate agent that is part of an international property consultancy.

Mr Leslie Goh


Mr Leslie Goh, RES Lecturer

Mr Leslie Goh is a Licensed Appraiser in his own valuation practice.  His work experience in the real estate industry over the last 30 years includes agency work, facility and project management and fire safety management. 


As a trainer, he has taught at two of Singapore’s polytechnics and private educational institutions. Currently, he is an associate trainer with the Building & Construction Authority. Leslie holds a B Sc (Estate Management) and is a member of the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers.

 Ku Swee Yong

Mr Ku Swee Yong, CPD Trainer

Mr Ku Swee Yong is the CEO of International Property Advisor Pte Ltd in Singapore. He was a Director in the Real Estate Centre of Expertise at Société Générale Private Banking, responsible for advising clients on real estate investments, the Director of Marketing and Business Development at Savills Singapore and the General Manager at Far East Organization's Indonesia office.

He holds an MBA in Marketing from University of Hull, UK, and completed his BSc in the Imperial College, University of London, UK and the Institut Louis Pasteur, Université de Strasbourg, France.

Swee Yong's opinion is regularly featured in the Straits Times, Business Times, 新明日报, 联合早报, Channel NewsAsia, TODAY etc. He has published 4 books on the property market: Real Estate Riches, Building your Real Estate Riches, Real Estate Realities and Weathering a Property Downturn.

He is also an adjunct lecturer in the National University of Singapore.

Mr Sunny Lee

Mr Sunny Lee, RES Lecturer



Mr Sunny Lee has some 30 years of experience in the real estate industry. He has worked in both public and private sectors, holding various senior positions covering investment, residential and commercial sectors.


Sunny holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (Estate Management) and a Master of Science Degree (Property Maintenance & Management) from the National University of Singapore. He is a licensed Valuer and a registered Salesperson; and is a member of the Singapore Institute of Surveyors & Valuers. He is also ACTA (Advanced Certificate in Training & Assessment) qualified - a needed requirement to train WDA's WSQ programs.

Steve Liu

Mr Steve Liu, CPD Trainer and RES Lecturer


Mr Steve Liu is currently a Director and KEO of a local real estate agency. He has been active in the real estate industry for past 15 years; having direct working experience as a real estate practitioner. Prior his current role, he had held various appointments as an Executive Director of real estate agency company, a real estate development and construction company, Head of Business Unit in an international property consultancy firm, team leader of agency firm and project IC of developer’s project.

Among those practising real estate matters for many years, he acts as a consultant in matters regarding feasibility studies on landed properties development and small-scale collective sales sites. His other expertise are sale and leasing of public and private residential properties, residential properties under construction, offices and shops. His other expertise in dealings with matters involving Real Estate Contract Law.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Engineering at University of New South Wales, Australia, Certificate in Common Examinations for Housing Agents (CEHA) at Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers, Certificate in Real Estate Agency (REA), Council for Estate Agencies, Certificate in Conveyance Practises, Singapore University of Social Sciences, WSQ Advance Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) and other non-real estate related qualifications.

Prior as SEAA trainer, he has been an adjunct lecturer in Nanyang Polytechnic and Republic Polytechnic

Over the years, he develops and conducts several real estate courses which includes CPD and RES courses for the institution. Among the RES courses, he has helped 700 institution’s students passed the RES examination within 2 years.

Mr Harold Tan, CPD Trainer


Mr Harold Tan is the Real Estate Development Advisory Director for Vestasia Group.  He has some 30 years of experience in the real estate industry having worked in both public and private sectors, holding various senior positions covering development, investment, commercial, retail, industrial and residential sectors. He has managed joint venture developments in the Asia-Pacific region comprising mixed used developments and townships. 

Harold holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (Estate Management)(Hons) from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Georgia (USA). He is a Member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Singapore Institute of Management, CORENET Global (Global Organization for Corporate Real Estate Managers) and the American Chamber of Commerce.

Mr Patrick Tan, CPD Trainer


Mr Patrick Tan is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the law firm M/s Fortis Law Corporation. He specializes in commercial litigation and dispute resolution, wealth and legacy management, and real estate. He is an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore, Commissioner for Oaths, a Fellow with the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators, and an accredited Mediator, appointed by the Singapore Mediation Centre and the Primary Dispute Resolution Centre of the Subordinate Courts of Singapore.

Patrick holds a LL.B (Hons) at the University of Nottingham. He received top honours, clinching several academic prizes in land law, company law and partnership law. Whilst at Nottingham, he served as an editor on the editorial boards of the University's law society and Malaysian and Singaporean Society.

Mr Dennis Tay, CPD Trainer and RES Lecturer


Dennis Tay graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1988 with a Degree in Estate Management and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration in 2008 from the same university. He has a Diploma in Marketing awarded by Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK and WSQ Advance Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA). His teaching experiences include RES and CPD Trainer with Singapore Estate Agents Association (SEAA), Part-time Tutor with National University of Singapore’s Design and Environment Faculty and Adjunct Lecturer with Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

Dennis Tay is currently a registered salesperson with VestAsia Pte Ltd as a Director, Corporate Real Estate Services and has more than 31 years’ experience in the real estate industry. He previously worked for the developer, Keppel Land as General Manager, Marketing, in charge of the sale and marketing of projects in China, India, Indonesia, Vietnam and Singapore. In the area of consultancy and brokerage, Dennis Tay was the director for Investment Properties in CB Richard Ellis Singapore. His overseas postings include Shanghai as Senior Manager and later on as Managing Director, CBRE Beijing.

He was also involved in the real estate agency industry when he joined SAEA as its CEO in 2013; and assisted in the formation of the Singapore Estate Agents Association (SEAA) in 2016.

Edith Tay


Ms Edith Tay, CPD Trainer


Ms Edith Tay has more than 15 years of experience in Real Estate, of which more than 12 years are on Singapore Commercial and Industrial Properties.

Her previous years representing DTZ, Knight Frank, SembCorp, have imbued in her a strong and substantial foundation in commercial real estate.

Her commercial real estate experience spans across various sectors. Her understanding of the business requirements in Education, Healthcare and Hi-tech manufacturing sectors, has helped her contribute to their relocation and expansion decisions of some MNCs and global companies. She has also successfully crafted Built-To-Suit solution for a "Design & Built" project for an aerospace company.

Ben Yeo

Mr Benjamin Yeo, CPD Trainer


Mr Benjamin Yeo graduated from the National University of Singapore (Honours) and served in the Singapore Government Legal Service from 1979 - 1983. His main areas of practice include Conveyancing, Real Property, Commercial and Corporate Law. He served as the Deputy Registrar of Land Titles and Deputy Controller of Residential Property before joining the private sector in 1983. Benjamin has extensive experience in both simple and complex transactions, such as franchises, joint ventures, corporate mergers, property development and collective land sales.


He has worked with an extensive clientele including multinational corporations, banks, government agencies, property developers and retail chains. In 1993, Benjamin co-founded M/s Yeo Wu & Thian and headed the Admin & Personnel and Conveyancing Departments. In 2001, he also co-founded Infinitus Law Corporation, heading its Admin & Personnel and Conveyancing Departments. He was a tutor for Conveyancing and Real Property in the Post-graduate Practice Law Course for graduate lawyers from 1986 to 1992. He was also a Commissioner for Oaths and Notary Public from 1996 to 2002. Benjamin's practice covers overseas countries such as China, Malaysia and Indonesia. He also advises on project start-ups, international transactions, business strategies and corporate planning and management

Lester Leow
Mr Lester Leow, CPD Trainer

Mr Lester Leow graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Science in Estate Management. Currently he is the Director of an estate agency that manages the investment and sales portfolio. Lester brings with him a wealth of experience in corporate real estate, business development and real estate fund experience. 

His past experiences with developers included functions in business development and marketing of local and overseas projects (residential, office and integrated developments). He also has exposure in handling listed & private equity fund, where he was the pioneer team in an Industrial REIT IPO and involved in a MNC real estate fund business unit in as the Vice President. In his 15 years of experience, he has transacted more than $300M worth of investment sales and corporate leases.

Joan Kho

Ms Joan Kho, CPD Trainer and RES Lecturer

Joan Kho’s experience in the property market spans more than 30 years. She was a valuer in a property consultant firm and later joined private developers to undertake the marketing and property management of various iconic projects in Singapore such as Raffles City, OCBC Centre, Waterside Condominium, Suntec City and Orchard Central.

Her keen interest to keep up with changes in the dynamic property markets has spurred her to take on lecturing stints in the evenings at Trent Global. Joan obtained both her Bachelors and Masters degree in Real Estate at the National University of Singapore.

Joseph Wong

Mr Joseph Wong, CPD Trainer

Joseph Wong spent 36 years with Standard Chartered Bank before deciding to leave in 2015 to pursue his life goals "while I am still healthy". His career milestones include business re-engineering, quality management, ISO 9001 certification, system design and training, global sales proposal management and digital learning (microlearning).

He is ACTA-certified and is known in the professional circle as Phonetics Joe for his communication skills. He has spoken at the Institute for Adult Learning, public libraries, community clubs, NUS, ITE and CJC here in Singapore and at the Secretaries Summit in the Philippines. He is also a registered trainer with the Ministry of education.

In 2017, Joseph published a children's book series titled I'm So Ready For Life, which brings the adult topics of economics, leadership and decision-making to children in a language they can understand. His articles on communication, leader and service also frequently appear in The Straits Times.
