Course Synopsis
En-bloc sale is a detailed process under the LTSA. Salespersons need to understand the various procedures and process. They have to assist the collection sales committee in marketing the en-bloc process from marketing to the close of tender to follow-up.
In between, salespersons have to understand their roles and responsibilities that is required under the LTSA legislation on en-bloc sale.
The programme gives a full description and details of the various roles and responsibilities of the different portion in the en-bloc sale as well as detail schedule and sections of the LTSA to be taken note of e.g. Section 84, Schedule 1, 2 and 3.
The course will cover different parties’ roles/responsibilities in the collective sale especially relating to the marketing agent role and his role in relationship with the other parties. Key legislation relating to the collective sale will be covered eg First, Second, Third Schedule as well as Section 84 of the Land Titles (Strata) Act.
Expected Learning Outcome(s):
The objectives of the course is to give participants an insight on the procedure of collective sale and the various roles and responsibilities of the parties involved. Relevant parts of the legislation will also be covered.
The course will give participants an understanding of the collective sale process. The various parties that are involved and their roles and responsibilities. They will be briefed on the various salient points in the legislation to be observed and compliance.

He is an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore, Commissioner for Oaths, a Fellow with the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators, and an accredited Mediator, appointed by the Singapore Mediation Centre and the Primary Dispute Resolution Centre of the Subordinate Courts of Singapore.
Patrick holds a LL.B (Hons) at the University of Nottingham. He received top honours, clinching several academic prizes in land law, company law and partnership law. Whilst at Nottingham, he served as an editor on the editorial boards of the University’s law society and Malaysian and Singaporean Society.
